Wuzhen Water Town
Canals, stone bridges, waterside houses and night scenery shape Wuzhen's complete Jiangnan experience; East and West Scenic Zones offer different rhythms of everyday life and leisurely stays.
Why it matters
Wuzhen Water Town
Wuzhen has roughly 1,300 years of town history. Its cross-shaped waterways divide areas such as East and West Scenic Zones. Conserved and restored neighbourhoods preserve waterside houses, stone bridges, Ming-Qing buildings, craft workshops and living traditions, making the water town more than scenery to look at: it is also a place for cultural presentation and holidays.
