Practical guide

01

Prepare the required details

Complete the form on a stable connection and keep a copy of the result.

  • Passport and visa or visa-free information
  • Arrival flight, train or vessel
  • Accommodation address and contact number
  • Purpose and intended length of stay
02

Use only the free official service

The NIA warns that arrival-card filing is free. Use the NIA website, government-service platform, Immigration 12367 app or official mini-programme; avoid copycat sites requesting payment.

  • Check the official domain
  • Do not upload passport or bank data to unknown sites
  • File at the port if advance filing is unavailable
  • Some exempt traveller groups may not need a card, subject to border-control guidance
